Drying Out

Spider Lily

Tropical Storm Debby visited us this week. We were blessed not to have the rainfall many places had, so we did not face the flooding others are dealing with. It rained nearly constantly for 2 days and then sporadically on Tuesday. We got at least 2+ inches at my house, but some places south of us got 30 inches! Our hearts and prayers are with those whose homes and businesses are hurting from the flooding, and also with those who have the wildfires in Colorado.

My daughter and I took a walk in the rain on Monday when the rain fall was light. At first I didn’t bring my cameraNikon Coolpix S70 12.1MP Digital Camera with 3.5-inch OLED Touch Screen and 5x Wide Angle Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom (Red), but there was so many beautiful things to see that I went home and got it. I wrapped it in a plastic sandwich bag in between shots.:) It started raining harder again before we got back home.

We woke up to beautiful blue, cloudless skies this morning! It was cool, like a Spring morning. We enjoyed opened windows and doors for much of the day. I loved the beautiful sunset of grace God gave us this evening.

  1. Such beautiful pictures, Janet! There is so much going on weather-wise all over the country right now, isn’t there?…..

    • Thank you, Mrs. B! Yes, there is! It is so scary, but I remind myself that God is sovereign and in control.
